Post-consumer waste continues to grow at an unprecedented rate while the state of our environment spirals downward into a global crisis. Reducing post-consumer waste is no longer a vow of the activist but an imperative global responsibility. Though recycling has reversed some of the problems, its pollutant effects upon our air and water can be counterproductive to its most noble of intentions. With only a matter of years left to save the planet, 4mula has a solution built in to our line : re-usability.
Packaging of 4mula products is designed for use, and re-use. The patent pending 4mula Ergobars are multifunctional. Built-in, soap-preserving legs minimize bar-to-dish contact, keeping the bar dry and long-lasting. Alternatively, these legs form an ergonomic chamber, fitting the hand for easy gripping and scrubbing.
High-density bottles for liquid products are rectangular - holding more product per square inch than a cylinder - and display with bookshelf efficiency along the limited space of the bathtub rim. Labels are printed on removable stock - when finished, empty bottles and boxes may be re-used for household storage or re-filled with product once 4mula expands its retail lab locations.
The standards of our packaging are set high - of durable materials and utilitarian design -aimed for a shelf life of usage beyond the containment of our products. Re-use them as storage solutions that bring order to other aspects of the home and reduce post-consumer waste. We live in a disposable world and the only reversal of this environmentally destructive cycle is quality.
Beauty in the least amount of space; what's more, all that is consumed goes down the drain.
